Cookie Policy
Last updated: 5 July 2026
This page explains the cookies and browser storage Syntax Sprint uses. We keep it minimal: the essentials to run the site, plus optional analytics you choose to turn on. See our Privacy Policy for the fuller picture.
Strictly necessary (always on)
These are required for the site to work and don't need consent. They include:
- Authentication & security — cookies that keep you signed in and protect your account.
- Consent preference — a small piece of local storage (
ss_analytics_consent) that remembers whether you accepted or rejected analytics, so we don't ask on every visit. - Core app state — local storage used to run the product (for example, remembering session-related preferences).
Analytics & session replay (optional)
These only load after you accept. They're off by default, and rejecting them doesn't limit the product.
- Analytics — our third-party analytics provider sets cookies and/or local storage to measure product usage and web analytics (pages viewed, features used, funnels, and retention) using a random analytics identifier. This helps us see where people drop off and improve the drills.
- Session replay — our analytics provider may record a replay of your session (clicks, navigation, mouse movement) so we can spot confusing UI. All input fields are masked: the answers and passwords you type are not captured.
Analytics is optional
You can use every part of Syntax Sprint without accepting analytics. If you reject, our analytics tools are never initialised — no analytics cookies, network calls, or session replay happen.
Change your choice
You can update your decision at any time here:
Analytics: not set
You can also clear cookies and site data in your browser, which will reset your choice and show the banner again on your next visit.
